Disney's

". . . . . each sings truly as led to fine resonance by vocal director . . . shazam - . . . focus and discipline, that excellence, expanded through joy in action, suffused the entire house . . . The show with spectacular scenery . . . and costume designs . . . bloomed as a big Broadway musical and filled the cavernous venue like a rock concert. "

42ND STREET

January 2006

". . . . . at this conservatory that harries students toward excellence rather than encouraging exhibitionism, . . . . . catch this production, or any other . . . . . company directors Conti and Farrell invariably get the heart of a show right, drawing their cast to a focal point that serves it up live and beating and in touchable, touching proximity.  It's not just discipline.  A sense of dramatic truth is conveyed at this conservatory, contagious to the audience.  East band, West Bank, in college and community productions of the Hudson Valley, how often do you attend, witness stupendous sets, glitzy costumes and flashes of talent but walk away unaltered in heart and mind?  This company's shows never leave this hunger."

     - Review from "Revival brings '42nd Street' to Hurley"

The Musical

Comedy Murders

of 1940

November 2006

". . . . . Randy Conti's Nov. 18 production of the 'Musical Comedy Murders of 1940' at the New York Conservatory for the Arts in Hurley played with compact elegance, not to mention wonderful good humor that charms like a shiny tree ornament . . . . . . the best comic acting comes from a cast encouraged to create characters who don't think they're funny while they're being ridiculous . . . . . deserves a Tony . . . . ."

     - Review from "Musical Comedy Murders of 1940' is fun-filled farce"
