THE ODD COUPLE

Neil Simon’s hilarious hit comes to the NYCA Cabaret stage, as Felix and Oscar meet head on.  What begins as a friendly poker game among friends turns into a wild ride for the men involved as they try to help Felix through his new found and undesired freedom from married life - a freedom that brings out his absolute desire for order and Oscar’s messy side, turning the entire evening into hilarity.

Grease

The Fabulous Fifties are back – just like on Broadway!  Get your motors runnin’, because it’s time to get charged up by Jacobs and Casey and their story of the not so likely couple of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski.  With a record breaking 8 year run on Broadway, the unforgettable songs that make GREASE a hit will stay with you long after the play is over!

You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Charles Schultz’s lovably human characters come to life with every wise crack, failure, and celebration that has been the timelessness of the ‘PEANUTS’ comics.  Charlie Brown & Snoopy join the rest of the gang in a fast paced and light hearted creation by Gesner who has given true joy to the stage with songs that include  ‘Suppertime’ & ‘Happiness’.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin

A tale from ages past or a tale from modern days – this timeless tale of a greedy mayor and a town over-run by rats.  A stranger rides into town, and for an agreed sum of 1,000 gilders he will help them.  What follows is a series of events that send the town into an uproar!  With a comic twist, the ‘Pied Piper’ comes to the stage, wide eyed & fresh.

Audition: Wed., August 29th 7:00PM & Sat. Sept. 15th 3:30PM; or by appt.

No preparation necessary.

Casting:   Ages 7-12

The NYCA Holiday Show

Classic Holiday Tales, Songs and Dances come to life on the NYCA Stage for a celebration of the Holidays when peace and goodwill prevail.  The NYCA Victorian Carolers and the Nycette Kick Line join the festivities to bring a true gift of holiday spirit into the hearts of all. NYCA students in Music, Song and Dance will perform holiday favorites as we all share the magic of winter and celebrate with lights during the darkest month of the year.
