Dear Parents and Students,
We are casting students, ages 17-25, who are looking to focus completely on Musical Theatre.
The Musical Theatre Intensive is a program designed to bring you training that best prepares you for auditions and helps you land professional work.
After many years of training young performers, our program's direction has been carefully chosen to fill in the missing pieces of solid Musical Theatre training.
Because we are not a liberal arts institution, we can offer more studio, production and performance time, with very individualized attention given to you in honing your skills. These skills that are acquired, along with your own creative passion, is what is needed to stand out above the others.
Upon completion of the Musical Theatre Intensive, you will have had approximately 1000 hours of Dance, another 1000 hours of Acting and Production, over 50 hours of Private Voice Lessons, 4-6 Prime Roles on your résumé, Master Classes with Professionals from Broadway and a countless number of rehearsal hours that allow you to be truly at ease as a performer.
Our aim is to provide the training which creates the 'triple threat' that has been lacking in the audition arena. We also believe that your Art comes from within - and in order for you to be really good at what you do, you have to bring yourself to it; so we encourage individual Artistic expression along with our training.
When you complete the program, there is no doubt that you will be prepared and ready to get professional work.
